About The Author
John Gidley was born and raised in Superior, Wisconsin. He is the fourth of five boys born to John and Joanne Gidley. He is a graduate of Superior Senior High School and of the University of Wisconsin - Superior with a degree in History and Broad Area Social Studies. He is an avid softball player and an area high school official. Besides local history, his other interests include traveling, sports, writing, and family. John resides in Superior with his wife, Heidi and their children.
