About The Author
Valery V. Tuchin is Professor and Optics Chair at Saratov State University (Russia), where he was Dean of Physics Faculty from 1982-1989. His research interests include biomedical optics and laser medicine, nonlinear dynamics of laser and biophysical systems, and physics of optical and laser measurements. He teaches courses on optics, tissue optics, laser and fiber optics in biomedicine, laser dynamics and biophysics for undergraduates and graduate students and international audiences. He has authored or edited 20 books.
