PURE is a Haverhill, Mass. based 4-piece heavy rock act born out of the fragments of Godsmack and Love Stained Rhythm in late ' 98 Front man Billy Demonaco first teamed with guitarist Lee Richards in the summer of 1994 in an acoustic act and later Lee jumped ship to the "Scam" which eventually became Godsmack with Billy as Lee's roadie! Andy Gilman former "Feds" and Lesser Gods" skin pounder, happened in by hearing a demo given to him by an old friend, and Walter Brown came over formerly of Neurotic Impulse also of Haverhill Mass, This line-up clicked fast and pieced together their first full length in about 3 weeks time!
