About The Author
Phil Borges is an award-winning Seattle- based photographer. His highly successful previous book was Tibetan Portrait: The Power of Compassion (Rizzoli, 1995).
Isabel Allende is the author of five best-selling novels, including The House of the Spirits, as well as of short stories and plays. Her books have been translated into more than 27 languages and adapted to movies, theater, opera, and ballet.
